Questions
- Is my file uploaded anywhere?
- No. The page reads the file with your browser and converts it there. The only things the site records are anonymous counts: which page was viewed, and for each conversion the source, the target, a rough row count and whether it worked. The privacy page lists every field.
- Is it free?
- Yes. There is no account to create and no limit on how many files you convert, up to 25 MB per file.
- Which accounting software does it work with?
- QuickBooks Online (CSV and .qbo), QuickBooks Desktop (.qbo Web Connect), Quicken (.qfx), Xero (CSV or OFX), and any program that reads OFX, such as GnuCash or Moneydance. For payment platforms it can also produce a payout journal entry.
- What if my file is from an app that is not listed?
- Choose "Any bank CSV" as the source. A CSV with a header row, a date column and either an amount column or separate debit and credit columns can be converted.
